April 10th, 2013
TEACHING SYNOPSIS FOR ACTING AND BUSINESSMEN
G’day everyone, as we say in Australia.
I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching soon at Stone Wings Acting School in Japan. I visited the beautiful country of Japan in 2010 and fell in love with it and with the people. The food is very nice too. Having an interest in Japanese Kabuki and Noh Theatre also attracts me to Japan.
I will be conducting two days of acting classes, one day of classes for businessmen and one day of private tuition classes. All with an interpreter!
ACTING
The acting classes will focus on Australian techniques and on camera training.
My objectives while teaching actors at Stone Wings will be on the following:
* Teaching the student the power of connecting the breathe and the voice within the body, and then connecting this with the text.
* Being able to draw on emotions from within the body and assist the connection of the breathe and the voice with the text.
* Attaching a technique to the text so the student can perform with connection to both themselves and to the text.
* Perform well and with direction.
* Self and teacher analysis of the actors work.
* Focuses on theory and practice while acting on camera.
* What skills do the students know about acting on camera? What messages are they getting across?
* What skills do they need to know to improve their work?
* The introduction of 14 major points to help the actors work on camera.
* Through practical exercises, actors will work on their taught skills with a script and in front of the camera.
* Skills are addressed and worked on as they perform with script.
* Self and teacher analysis of the actors work.

This is awesome! I went to highschool in Japan and can truly say that you touring there and teaching businessmen is an amazing idea! I think you teaching the above mentioned ideals and techniques to anyone in business is a great idea! I look forward to hearing more about how the touring is going and would love to see pics! You are easily the best acting coach/teacher I have met in my 26yrs of acting and consider it a blessing to anyone who gets to work with you.
Thank you for splendid workshop! Indeed you are an excellent teacher.
My students really honor and love you.
You got connection to everyone and build their potentials up. Many japanese are embarrassed to be praised. Because it is rare in Japan. So they tend to suppress their real emotion. You released their emotion and taught natural acting.
In business class students were impressed that the idea of creative approach and breath & voice work.
Thank you very much. I’ d like to trip your country sometime.

On the way to Stone Wings,on a train,in the bath,on my “huton”before I go to bed,
I’m trying the breath exercise of Chakra anytime I noticed.
