With: Paul Parker. The former owner and Artistic Director of AIDA – Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts; who is familiar to Infolist members with his teachings in the USA!

Paul Parker:
• Is in his 25th year of teaching actors
• He teaches online on Skype and has taught in person in Australia, USA, ( Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco)
Japan and China
• His school in the USA – AIDA had an over nine year history of its actors booking work in all mediums in the USA and overseas!
• Most of the actors in the school were American
• AIDA Actors have booked dozens of television shows in the USA
• Some AIDA actors have won awards!
• AIDA Actors performed in Showcases including a national tour in 2009 from Los Angeles to San Francisco to Off Broadway in New York, New York
• Has taught at and educated actors at Performing Arts Conferences from 2007 to 2011 in the USA; in front of hundreds of Industry professionals
• Will be releasing a book on acting in 2014!

Paul’s teachings:

• Will be new classes from his curriculum
• The classes in Los Angeles and New York will be on Australian techniques, four other acting techniques, On Camera acting classes and dealing with actors’ personal problems while
working on camera.
• These classes have not been taught before in the USA!
• Paul is a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education

LOS ANGELES:
Monday 14th April – 6.30 -10pm (3.5 hours) Class on: Australian and four other techniques.
(We are considering having part of this class on delay or live to the world on the internet)
Tuesday 15th April – 6.30 -10pm (3.5 hours) Class on: On Camera acting. Some new and some tried and tested stuff!
Wednesday 16th April – 6.30 -10pm (3.5 hours) Class on: Dealing with actors personal concerns and On camera.
&
Thursday 24th April – 6.30 -10pm (3.5 hours) Class on: Australian techniques and how to best make it as an actor.

All Los Angeles classes will be on Theatre row in Hollywood at – The Lounge Theatre at 6201 Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood, 90038.

COST: $60.00 for a 3.5 hour class. $100.00 if you book two classes. $150.00 if you book three classes. $200.00 if you book for all four classes.

NEW YORK:
Monday 21st April – 7 – 10pm (3 hours) Class on: Australian and four other techniques.
Tuesday 22nd April – 7 – 10pm (3 hours) Class on: On Camera and personal concerns.

All New York classes will be at – Champion Studios at 257 W 39th Street, New York, NY 14th floor, 10018

COST: $60.00 for a 3 hour class. $100.00 if you book two classes.
